There are two different modes to play through. Campaign Mode has 12 missions where you have a specific goal to accomplish. One example is that you need to customize your mansion to attract all the members of an old jazz band so that you can reunite them in time for a jazz festival. Empire Mode gives you a blank slate and lets you build up the Playboy Empire from nothing.

Within the game are several goals to strive for such as getting your first girlfriend, publishing your first issue, or reaching a specific circulation with the mag. Meeting these goals earns you points that can be used to unlock a plethora of bonus material. Playboy fans will enjoy looking through a wide variety of classic covers and Playmate photos. Hef even donated several of his own personal artifacts to be included as unlockables.
