Planetside Universe has posted five new screenshots from Core Combat, the upcoming PlanetSide expansion pack. The shots show various locations in the game. PlanetSide is a great game but it takes a huge investment of time and you need to hook up with other dedicated players to get the best experience out of it.

It original was fun for the free month that it came with. I paid for a month or two after that and it just went downhill. Could be partialy attributed to the expansion being announced 3 months after release

Welcome to Sony. The only other company that's as bad with add-ons is EA. MOH Breakthrough was just released. Now in Jan MOH Pacific Strike or something is being released. And I'm sure there are going to make alteast 3 more Sims add-ons. I guess if the demand is there. Planetside really needed something new. But I don't think Core Combat is going to be it. The game needs some kind of incentive or something to keep playing. BR and CR really don't mean shit in the game. It needs more defining or specializing in the characters.

Oh and about the graphics. If you crank everything on in the game it does look pretty sweet. I just keep everything to a minimum to keep my FPS up in the big battles.
