Sony Online today announced
PlanetSide: Aftershock, a new collection of their massively multiplayer
first person shooter that contains the original PlanetSide and the Core Combat
and BattleFrame Robotics expansion-packs. If you already own Core Combat, you
will have access to the BFR's and will not have to purchse this compilation.
BFR's are a Core Combat feature and are not exclusive to Aftershock. However,
Aftershock will give you a more fully updated version of PlanetSide (to minimize
time spent updating after a new install) and a new manual and keymapping chart.
PlanetSide: Aftershock will ship to North American retail stores on October 18,
