XG: Can you go in-depth regarding the new buildings we are going to see in the expansion? What about the new units in this expansion? What can you tell us about it? How many units can the player command at one time this time round?

EK: We've developed a new branch of the tech tree, which includes a new Lab, a new stationery gun and three corresponding units - one ground and two air units. The new Laboratory is not only playable, but also plays an important role in the plot. According to the storyline, this Lab was used by the Scourge-infected Vice Frame in development of the Mechanical Spirit. Once the player captures it, he is able to build the Mechanical Spirit and open Corridors to new Worlds. This is when the real action begins.

Aside from the new branch of the tech tree there are several new Empire and Exodus Frames in the game, including the Vice Frames and the lost Exodus Frames.
