Smart guys at HomeLAN has learned that former id Software modeller Paul Steed has left WildTangent to create his own game development studio. Steed told HomeLAN that he still plans to work closely with his former company by using WildTangent's technology to create both games as well as visualisers for programs like MP3 software that will be sold strickly on the net. Here is a slice from short phone interview:
Steed said that he will concentrate his work on the visualisers (featuring women models dancing to music) for now but that he has ideas to develop a couple of games as well using WildTangent technology. He has already hired a contract programmer and artist to help him with his projects. The company will be based in Bellevue, Washington which is nearby WildTangent's offices in Redmond. [more]
