Oblivion: PS3 vs Xbox 360 - movie
(hx) 05:48 PM CET - Mar,23 2007 - Post a comment / read (7)
GameTrailers is showcasing a new video comparing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion running on the Xbox 360 to the same game running on a PS3. Well, I'll be curious to see this video again after Shivering Isles. The 360 and PC versions are supposed to get a visual upgrade with that expansion...

Well, the difference in these videos is barely there. To me it just looks like the PS3 version has the brightness turned up a bit and has a little bit more bloom. They both still look fantastic. As I said, they ought to compare these when the 360 version gets patched with the same visual upgrades....

IMO i rather stick to the 360, currently there is a war between Blue Ray and HD DVD and if somehow samsung hd dvd wins then you just got yourself a useless blue ray player that can only play games.

saying that most of us aussies already have a 360 and wouldnt want to spend nearly 1000AUSD for a ps3, i rather wait for it to get cheaper and get an imported one or simply if blueray does lose the war iam sure the ps3 would worth peanuts since its the blueray play feature that makes the ps3 cost so much..

heretic, the only difference I noticed was that the PS3 version had a much better Leather Shield texture.

bluray has been outselling hddvd recently, so don't be calling it dead.

look a the face of the King, X360=blurry PS3=sharp

Looks pretty much the same to me, but agree again the PS3 brightness/gamma is too high.

What is the Difference Between Xbox 360 Models? - So, you've finally decided to start looking at buying an Xbox 360. Good for you, there are some great games on there. Playing DivX and Xvid content on Xbox 360 - Microsoft’s Xbox 360 gaming console is one of the most popular ever. It’s great for sitting around and playing games with friends and you can even play DVD’s and music CD’s on the console. While this isn’t terribly exciting, if you have a system that is running Windows Media Center (MCE) or Vista Ultimate Edition, you can stream Windows Media Video (WMV) movies to your 360 console over the network. Singularity - PC, PS3, Xbox 360 - Raven have stated that Singularity's main gameplay mechanism is a device, known in the game as the TMD (Time Manipulation Device). The TMD has the ability to move a single object through time, both into the future, and into the past. It can also freeze an object in time, and has an 'Impulse' function, which can be used as a weapon once upgraded. The TMD is multifunctional, as it can be used as a powerful weapon, but also as a tool in puzzle solving scenarios. The device's use as a weapon is unconventional when compared to the weapons in other games. For instance, using the TMD's "rewind" function on a human opponent will send them into a "placental" state where they revert to an almost amoebic state, before slowly dying. The device is essential for solving puzzles, such as sending a lock forward in time, causing it to rust it in real time, or sending a broken bridge backwards in time until it returns to a usable state. Sending a tree trunk forwards in time while standing on it will cause it grow very quickly, allowing the player to reach higher areas. (702 hits)
