NVIDIA has released GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 595.76, 2026, as a quick follow-up to the recent Game Ready Driver 595.71, addressing multiple urgent issues reported by users.The hotfix primarily resolves a voltage capping problem during overclocking that prevented RTX GPUs (particularly RTX 50-series) from reaching expected boost clocks, restoring proper performance for overclockers.
It also fixes visual artifacts like white glowing dots in Resident Evil Requiem when Subsurface Scattering is enabled, boosts path tracing performance in the game (with some users reporting up to 30% gains), and eliminates launch crashes in Star Citizen.Additional corrections target intermittent crashes or timeouts when playing multi-key DRM content in browsers on HDCP 1.x monitors.
