Hello Games is also switching up how you interact with terrain. Now, you can restore and flatten terrain you’ve messed with, letting you restore the landscape as needed. The Terrain Manipulator also has new visual effects that seem to make it easier to see exactly what you’re doing. Once you’ve altered the terrain in your base to the shape you want, you can now protect it from regeneration.
In a number of ways, this update is mostly focused on improving the quality of life for players. The Synthesis update is packed with new content. In addition to all the above, players can look forward to better inventory management, new technologies, base building improvements, and much more. If you’re a No Man’s Sky player, I highly suggest you go read the full patch notes and see everything that’s coming.
