Nintendo shutting down Wii/DS online gaming today - console

Do you still play online games on your Nintendo Wii or Nintendo DS? Well, starting on May 20th, you'll no longer be able to connect to the online service as Nintendo shutters the service to focus on the WiiU and the 3DS. The announcement was posted on Nintendo's site back in February, giving customers only three months to get their fill of play in.

Oh well, this is why we prefer local mulitplayer for consoles or PC games where a dedicated server can be be hosted by anyone :-)
