  • NCSoft Releases New Aion Zone Video - The new zone, Inggison, is part of the game's major content update releasing on September 7th, 'Assault on Balaurea'.
  • New Left 4 Dead 2 PC Community Campaign - There's a new featured community campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 PC players, called Detour Ahead. The six map campaign features both Co-Op and Campaign gamepla
  • Patrician IV Building Video - The freshly released Mount & Blade: Warband free DLC features new horse armour, duel mode, 70+ new achievements and more maps.
  • Dragon Age 2 'Destiny' trailer gets extra 42 seconds with director's cut - BioWare’s released an extended version of the gamescom Dragon Age 2 reveal trailer, granting an extra 42 seconds of show-stopping CG.  The RPG was given a US and UK release date by Dr Ray at EA's gamescom press event last week; it'll hit on March 8 and 11 respectively.
  • StarCraft II exclusive in-game items offered to BlizzCon 2010 - BlizzCon 2010 Attendees Get World Of Warcraft, StarCraft II Items Just as they did in years past, Blizzard will be offering in-game items to attendees of BlizzCon 2010. StarCraft II players will be able to get an exclusive Murloc Marine character portrait for their BlizzCon ticket along with some deep-sea decals that can be placed on the RTS game's units. Players of Blizzard's MMO World of Warcraft will also get a new in-game item: Deathy, a murloc in-game companion that's dressed up to look like the game's major villain Deathwing.
  • BioShock 2 DLC 'Minerva's Den' Arrives Aug. 31 for $10 - 2K Marin has revealed BioShock 2's 'narrative driven' downloadable content pack, Minerva's Den, will launch at the end of this month. The content will be available on August 31 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and is priced at $9.99 / 800 Microsoft Points. The content will be available for PC users at 'a later date.'
  • Arma 2: British Armed Forces Ships - The Arma 2 website announces the release of the British Armed Forces add-on for Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead, Bohemia Interactive's military shooter.
  • Worms Reloaded now available on Steam - As promised, developer Team17 has launched Worms: Reloaded via Steam. Steam also has a playable free demo for Worms Reloaded available for download although at the moment there's no word on what content the demo contains
  • Bungie Reveals Halo: Reach Armor Effects - MTV Multiplayer has an article online with some of the special Halo: Reach armor effects that players can 'purchase' with points won by playing in game matches.
  • Netflix App for iPhone/Touch Released - The popular video subscription service just updated its Apple app to support the iPhone and iPod Touch, which now join the iPad in offering streaming videos. Netflix members can download the free 1.1.0 version to watch their favorite TV shows and movies. The streaming is available only over WiFi and the 3G network.
  • Stargate Games Lawsuit - . According to Courthouse News, shareholders for Cheyenne Mountain claim that members of Dark Orbit Games and Fresh Start Studios transferred the assets of Stargate Resistance illegally and for a fraction for what the game is worth.
  • Xbox Live getting audio qualty improvement in Fall update  - Microsoft has announced that for the next Xbox Live update, they’ll include an improved audio quality for all those kids screaming curse words into their headsets. The new updates will launch on November and will include a new codec for audio transmission.
  • Detectives Explore Video Game Fantasy As Motive For Brutal Teen Murder - Detectives in Seattle look to Dungeons and Dragons Online for answers to why, according to police, an 18-year-old high school student choked a 16-year-old developmentally disabled teen girl to death last Tuesday.
