- Counter-Strike's creator talks about new game

- Splinter Cell 'Insurgency Pack' DLC Dated - Ubisoft
has announced its first Splinter Cell: Conviction DLC called Splinter
Cell The Deniable Ops 'Insurgency Pack' (aka Insurgency Pack), which
will be available for the PC and Xbox 360 on May 27, 2010. The DLC will
be available for 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99. The DLC includes four
new maps, whihc span from San Francisco to a New Orleans cemetery, a
prison in Portland to a hidden research complex in Salt Lake City.
- Majesty 2: Battles of Ardani Coming This Week - The
Ino-Co Website announces Majesty 2: Battles of Ardania, a second add-on
for Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, the real-time strategy sequel.
The expansion will be released May 21, which is this Friday.
- StarCraft 2 Beta Ending May 31; Second Beta Coming
Before Release - If you have been picked to beta
test StarCraft II you had better get some game time in now.
Blizzard has just announced that the first phase of the multiplayer
beta test for their long awaited sci-fi RTS sequel will end for all
regions on Monday, May 31. A second phase will run 'for a couple of
weeks prior to the game's launch,' which is set for July 27 worldwide.
- LEGO Universe available for pre-order - LEGO
Universe is now available for pre-order at retail stores and on
www.legouniverse.com. The asking price of $40 USD gets you the game
plus a 30 month subscription
- Red Dead Redemption Review - The New
York Times is the first one out of the gate with a review of Rockstar's Red Dead
Redemption calling it a 'tour de force'.
- Premium PSN Service to be Revealed at E3? -
VG247 claims that Sony is
preparing to reveal a premium PSN service requiring a subscription fee
at E3 2010, citing a 'highly-placed source.' According to VG247's
source, Sony might offer a free PSN title from a selection of "two to
four" each month to paying subscribers, which could cost "less than
£50 per year," which is around $73. FYI, E3 2010 kicks off in
Los Angeles, CA on June 15.
