  • No Medal of Honor Demo Before Release - A post to the Electronic Arts Forums from Barrie 'Bazajaytee' Tingle confirms that EA will not be offering a Medal of Honor demo prior to the release of the upcoming military FPS.
  • Medal of Honor BETA Connections Fixed - The suggestion for those experiencing PunkBuster issues is to reinstall the entire open beta client, being sure to check 'yes' to the question about installing PunkBuster. The latest post from Barrie Tingle indicates they are adding servers to keep up with demand.
  • Medal of Honor Midnight Madness - GameStop has released the list of stores that will hold midnight openings for Medal of Honor. Participating stores will open at 10:00 PM on October 11th, and the game will be available starting at 12:01 AM on October 12th.
  • Worms Reloaded Patched - A new patch for Worms Reloaded is now automatically available through Steam.
  • Gears of War 3 Slips to Fall 2011 - Originally slated for release on a 'firm' date of April 5, 2011 in North America, Epic Games and Microsoft are now reporting that Gear of War 3 has been pushed back. Microsoft has apparently 'elected' to delay the game until closer to the Holiday 2011 season.
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Demo Now Available (PS3/Xbox 360) - A short "tutorial" demo for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is now available for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
  • Mac Left 4 Dead by Halloween - Left 4 Dead 2 will be released on the Mac Tuesday October 5th. If you already own it on the PC, then you own it on the Mac. All you need to do is install it on your Mac and start playing.
  • OnLive Drops Subscription Fees - Cloud computing provider OnLive today announced that they are dropping plans for monthly subscription fees for their cloud-based gaming service, which were to be charged in addition to fees for the games themselves.
  • Video Games Will Cripple You For Life - This article claims that you can sustain the same kind of injury playing the Wii as you can playing pro football. Sweet! :D

The way I look at it, it helps strengthen the PC platform that much more. Considering there are approx 80 million+ Mac users out there. Valve is doing a good thing here and also potentially and exponentially increasing their revenue.

I don't think OSX users play games, I mean, those of them that don't use dual boot. Most of them were aware that they won't play (much) on OSX. Those that do play games usually just dual boot and play in window$
