Team Fortress 2 Preview -
GameSpot has a new Team Fortress 2 preview describing a new trailer (mirror

mirror #2 - worth watching!) that's on display at the Leipzig Games
Convention.

Games has announced that Dominion 3, their turn-based fantasy strategy
title, has gone gold. The title, which comes out for Windows, Mac and Linux,
is due October 2.
- World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Alpha Testing Begins - The test
is only for relatives and friends of Blizzard team members,
according to this Blizzard web page and details of the testing is being
kept secret beyond the people involved.
- Battlefield 2142 Veterans Program Launches - The official
Battlefield 2142 website has now launched the promised
Battlefield 2 Veterans program which will allow players of the current
DICE-EA multiplayer shooter to reserve their BF2 name for use in the upcoming
sci-fi multiplayer game.
- Defcon To Be Released On Steam In September - Defcon, the upcoming
WWIII nuclear war strategy game from developer Introversion Software, will be
released on
Valve's content delivery system in September for $14.95
- Steam to sell Pop Cap Games - Valve brings word that STEAM will
begin to sell Pop Cap Games beginning August 30th with 17 products.

Virtua Tennis 3 Coming To PC - Sega has announced that it will
release PC and PSP versions of
Virtua Tennis 3, the upcoming and latest game in their acclaimed tennis
game series. The game was previously announced for the Xbox 360 and PS3
consoles. All the versions of the game are due for release this spring 2007.

Test Drive Unlimited For Xbox 360 Goes Gold - Atari has announced
that the Xbox 360 version of their open world racing game
Test Drive Unlimited has gone gold. The game, developed by Eden Studios,
is due to ship to stores on September 5. PC, PS2 and PSP versions of the game
are still due out in October. The second Test Drive Unlimited demo will appear
on the marketplace tomorrow. This demo will feature not only cars but a
motorcycle as well.
- Texas Hold Em' Free For 48 Hours (Xbox 360) - Microsoft is giving
away
Texas Hold Em’ FREE for 48 hours starting today. This is the full game,
completely free, no charge to you. Just log in to Xbox Live before Friday the
25th and grab it.
- Xbox 360 external HD-DVD drive supports movies, not games - The
Xbox 360 itself will enable high definition gaming from software played on
it's internal drive, including high definition video. However,
Microsoft Taiwan has stated in the article that the external HD-DVD drive does
not support games due to expected increases in manufacturing costs and
"stability issues" with software.
- New Xbox 360 Peripherals -
This Microsoft press release has some more details on new Xbox 360 and PC
game hardware products. The announcement has a price and release date for the
Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows, which will be released in early
December for $19.95. Also, the Xbox Vision Camera will now come out on Sept.
19.

steering wheel and more.
- Sony to offer 27 PS3 games at Tokyo show -
