sent out a press release announcing Dragon
Age: Origins is now available in North America, offering the
RPG they are calling the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate. The game
is available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. GameSpot (9.5/10), Eurogamer (8/10) and IGN UK (9.2/10) have each posted a
review.

Edition Ships - LucasArts today announced that Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith
Edition is now available for the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3,
and for the first time ever, PCs. The Ultimate Sith Edition shows
gamers the deepest, darkest side of the Force in a story that puts them
on a collision course with Luke Skywalker himself.. Star Wars The Force
Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition includes all of the original missions
found in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed as well as content previously
only available via download and an all-new bonus level set on the
planet Hoth. It comes packaged in a premium case along with a special
edition art book and collectible art cards that showcase the memorable
characters in the game.
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Breaks GameStop
Pre-Order Record - Pre-orders for Call of Duty: Modern
Warfare 2 are 'the highest for any title we've ever sold in our 6,200
store network,' retailer GameStop has informed. Infinity
Ward's anticipated (and controversial) shooter sequel hits PC,
PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in exactly one week, on Tuesday, November
10. Various retailers are hosting midnight events to commemorate the
release, including GameStop and Walmart.

- World of Warcraft Ordered to Shut Down in China -
A Chinese regulatory authority has ordered World of
Warcraft's Chinese licensing partner NetEase to cease operating
Blizzard's MMORPG in the country.
- Microsoft Launches Xbox Live Rewards Pilot - Microsoft
has launched an invite-only test program for Xbox 360,
offering participants incentives to make certain purchases or
subscriptions and fill out surveys. Three levels have been
uncovered thus far: Gray, Orange, and Green. Gray participants will be
refunded a small percentage of their total Marketplace purchases, with
the percentage growing the longer they stay subscribed to Xbox Live
Gold.
