- World in Conflict: Soviet Assault Re-Announced - After buying
Massive Entertainment late last year,publisher Ubisoft was quiet about if
the developer's long awaited RTS expansion pack World in Conflict: Soviet
Assault would in fact be released. Today the publisher sent over word that
the expansion is indeed still being released in March.
- Theater of War mission pack-
The $25 mission pack for Theater of War (which is also available via
mail order) adds a new full single player campaign to Theatre of War (The
Liberation of Belorussia, 1944), another shorter three map mini-campaign
(Strategic Breakthrough, 1940) and four multiplayer maps. if you order the
mail-order DVD disk version it will also include the latest Theatre of War
patch which adds yet another new campaign, a Random Battle Generator and
more.
- Battlefield Heroes Beta Signups Open Again - Developer EA DICE
today began accepting applications for the next round beta testing for its
free-to-play, web-launched multiplayer shooter Battlefield Heroes. Those
interested in participating are required to sign into the the official
Battlefield Heroes website with their EA Account, and must then proceed
to the
sign-up form.
- Dawn of War II Bug - Gamers experiencing the game crippling Dawn
of War II bug where the intro movie and game menu is a complete sideshow,
will want to check out
this thread on the official Dawn of War II forums which gives some
information on how to manually disable vsync and get the game running again.
- I Am Alive & Endwar PC Plans - The first person survival
game I Am Alive (PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) will be released this
March, publisher
Ubisoft announced today. Also due out in March: Tom Clancy's HAWX (PC,
PS3, Xbox 360), the PC version of Tom Clancy's EndWar, and the Wii-exclusive
Tenchu: Shadow Assassins.
