  • Baldur's Gate 3 won't be open-world, custom characters will have voices - The creative director of Larian Studios, Swen Vincke, recently hosted an AMA (ask me anything) discussion on Reddit. Vincke and few other developers from Larian Studios answered some questions from Reddit users. Vincke also expressed his excitement for the gameplay reveal that took place in PAX East. First of all, custom characters will have full voice acting and you can choose your character’s voice through the character creation. The character creation will have more depth compared to the previous games. You can select race, class, abilities, spells, skills, cantrips and also customize the visual aspect of your character.
  • Borderlands 3 on Steam - Borderlands 3 is now available on Steam with a 50% discount for the next week, offering another way to buy the newest installment in Gearbox's action/RPG/shooter series. This post covers the news and announces that this marks the beginning of cross-play for the Windows edition:
  • Nomadic survival MMO Last Oasis will hit Steam Early Access this month - Last Oasis is a massively multiplayer online title with a nomadic survival theme. The game is being developed and published by Donkey Crew. This is a newly established game studio based in the historic city of Wroclaw, Poland. In Last Oasis a cataclysmic event halted the Earth’s rotation, splitting the into two extreme and deadly environments. Humans must migrate to a narrow band between the hot and cold halves of the planet for survival. In order for them to move, they have built nomadic machines, called walkers. They also built a walking city called Flotilla. This game is made up of several interconnected oases and each one is over one hundred kilometers. The oases exist simultaneously and their number automatically adjusts according to the size of the player-base. Last Oasis will hit Steam Early Access on March 26th.
  • New Terminator Resistance Update adds FOV slider - Reef Entertainment has released a brand new update for Terminator Resistance. According to the release notes, this new patch adds a FOV slider and a Chromatic Aberration toggle. It also adds a FidelityFX setting, and brings level lighting and post-processing improvements. Moreover, this update introduces a number of gameplay tweaks and improvements. For instance, it improves player movement/locomotion. It also packs general enemy AI Improvements and fixes. Not only that, but it improves general balance of difficulty levels, and allows enemies to behave differently based on difficulty selection.As always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client.
  • Guild Wars 2 Expansion Revealed - The Guild Wars Website has details on Visions of the Past: Steel and Fire, a content update coming on March 17th to Guild Wars 2, offering this trailer with a look at what to expect. They discuss other upcoming plans for the RPG sequel, capping things off with the surprise "glimpse of the distant future" with word that a third expansion for the game is in the works.
  • Path of Exile: Delirium is now available for free - Grinding Gear Games has announced that the latest free expansion for Path of Exile, Delirium, is now available for download on the PC. The Path of Exile: Delirium expansion adds deadly new enemies and amplifies existing ones to create an intense layer of difficulty to Path of Exile's core combat.
  • The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project 11.0 released - As promised, Halk Hogan PL has released the latest version of his graphical overhaul mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project 11.0 Toussaint is 7GB in size, overhauls numerous textures, and is now available for download.
  • NieR 10th anniversary live stream set for March 29 - Square Enix will host three live streams for NieR‘s 10th anniversary for a combined 10-plus hours starting March 29 at 23:59 JST, the company announced.
  • The Super Mario FPS Unreal Engine 4 fan game is finally available for download - Sean Noonan, who is a Lead Level Designer at Splash Damage, has created his own interpretation of World 1-1 from Super Mario Bros in Unreal Engine 4. Players will be able to explore it, collect coins, and use weapons in a first-person mode to kill enemies. You can download this Super Mario FPS fan game from here.
  • The first Watch_Dogs will be available for free next week on Epic Games Store - Ubisoft and Epic Games have announced that the first Watch Dogs game will be available for free on EGS next week. Watch_Dogs is infamous for its graphics downgrade, however, and after installing various mods, the game can still look great on the PC. This week, Epic Games is offering for free Anodyne 2: Return To Dust, A Short Hike and Mutazione. From today and until March 19th, PC gamers can visit their EGS pages and acquire their free copies.
  • The lead writer for Overwatch has left Blizzard Entertainment - Michael Chu, the lead writer for the Overwatch series, has announced he has left from Blizzard Entertainment. According to Michael Chu, he is moving on to new adventures, after twenty years of working at Blizzard Entertainment.
  • Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus are in talks for another title - According to Reedus, they are talking on working on yet another project, or even projects.Reedus said they are talking of doing more Death Stranding stuff, which probably means DLC or even a sequel. Kojima said in the past that if he ever did a sequel he “would start from zero”. According to Reedus, Guilermo del Toro originally called him and told him that Hideo Kojima will call him for a business meeting. Toro continued saying that Reedus should “just say yes” to Kojima.

Visions of the Past is not the third expansion for Guild Wars 2, but just one of the regular seasons updates.
