  • Alice in Wonderland Game Revealed - Disney plans to release games based on the upcoming Tim Burton film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland for Wii, PC and DS. Developed by Etranges Libellules in France, The Wii and PC versions follow the film's storyline as well as introducing new fiction and locations. An 'upgradeable combat system' is included, as well as a level setup where players collect 'impossible ideas' to replay levels and unlock Underland's secrets. The Nintendo DS version will have players creating their own paths through Underland and DSi owners will even be able to unlock content via camera.
  • EndWar sequel coming - Ubisoft creative director Michael De Plater stated that they plan to improve the single player campaign and the depth for the sequel. While the follow-up does not yet have a release date, De Plater said that the original sold a respectible 1.5 million copies. He states, 'We still sold more than Red Alert 3, sold more than Company of Heroes, sold more than World in Conflict.'
  • Left 4 Dead 2's Swamp Fever Media Blowout - Valve has not only passed along word about their appearance at this year's Comic-Con, but they have also passed along brand new screens and video for Left 4 Dead 2. Mudmen are another new addition, acting as "uncommon common" Infected. These handsome devils will only make an appearance in the Swamp Fever campaign. Valve promises that at least one more Boss Infected will be revealed prior to the game's launch on November 17. Even more of the 20 new items will be shown off in small doses in the upcoming weeks. Items such as the cricket bat, AK47, and grenade launcher are all expected to make a showing.
  • DiRT 2 and X Games - Codemasters announces an X Games component will be included in Colin McRae: DiRT 2, the upcoming rally racing sequel. Word is: "Each X Games event will consist of two knockout rounds (quarters and semis) rounded off with a dramatic final held at spectacular locations including London (X Games Europe), Tokyo (X Games Asia) and Los Angeles (X Games America). The X Games America competition is identified from the very start of the game as the pinnacle event in Colin McRae: DiRT 2's racing world and the ultimate test for any off-road racer."
