Gameplay hasn’t changed much from our previous time with the game; Nexagon is still a sci-fi themed real time strategy title with a heavy emphasis on action. Players recruit a team of creatures from four different races to compete in gladiatorial contests. This particular build we received was different from our first preview build in that it had Nexagon’s money system in place. Players start with a set amount of cash to recruit an army and as they win matches in the contests they gain more money to recruit better units. If you play the game and your watching audience finds your team to be exciting to watch you earn more money. As before, players can alter the arenas they have to defend with barriers, traps and weapons before the actual combat takes place.
