The oddly named Rubu Tribe made its public debut at last month's E3 in LA for PlayStation 2. The title is coming from Interplay's Digital Mayhem division, and is being developed by Outrage Entertainment.
Publisher Interplay is billing Rubu Tribe as a completely new and unique experience based on classic gameplay styles. Gamers control Muku, the leader of a tribe of creatures known as the Rubu. The tribe, along with the gargantuan Uut that carries their village, embarks on an epic journey to a sacred and mystical place. Over the course of the quest, you must solve puzzles, complete quests and conquer foes while also guiding the action of your fellow tribe members. The player must lead the village safely through a dangerous organic world filled with creatures, and challenges from both outside and inside the tribe. [more]
