Microsoft sent out a press release announcing that MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries has gone gold and is scheduled to ship to stores on November 8. 'Mech pilots will soon have the opportunity to take 100-ton war machines for a stomp in the latest standalone installment of the critically acclaimed MechWarrior action-simulator franchise. With more than 35 'Mechs, new weapons, 19 new multiplayer maps and a brand new electronics package, MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries is sure to satisfy any gamer's appetite for heavy metal havoc.  Microsoft also sends word that the PC version of Rallisport Challenge (previously released on the Xbox) has gone gold as well, and it is shipping November 7.
