- Ship Sim 2006 Patch v1.3 - Lighthouse Interactive has issued
a new patch for Ship Simulator 2006, bringing the international editions
(non-US/German) of the civilian naval and harbor simulation by VStep up to
version 1.3
- Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodline patch v2.8 -
A new user-created patch for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodline is now
available. The version 2.8 patch, as always, addresses bugs found in the game.

- World of Warcraft Patch v1.12.0 - Blizzard has issued new patches
for World of Warcraft, upgrading the the US, UK, German and French editions of
their fantasy MMORPG to version 1.12.0. This update adds cross-realm PvP
Battlegrounds, new objective-based PvP battles, the Rogue talent review, and
the expected huge array of gameplay improvements, balance tweaks, bug fixes.

Entertainment announces the North American release of
Barrow Hill: Curse of
the Ancient Circle (demo),
the first person adventure game.
- Call of Juarez MP Demo Next Week - Techland sent us a note that
they will release a multiplayer demo for
Call of Juarez next
week to accompany the recently released
single-player
demo. The demo will contain two game modes - Skirmish and Robbery located
in typical Old West’s towns and players will be able to impersonate both
outlaws and sheriffs and play in two available classes for each team, as a
Gunslinger or a Rifleman.
- Sonic Riders Coming To The PC - Sega has announced that their
airboard racing game
Sonic
Riders, previously released for current gen consoles, will also be coming
to the PC. The PC version is due for release this December.

L. Clark, a student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa currently working on
a communications Master's degree.
- EA Aquires Spellforce Dev Team -
Electronic Arts has acquired Phenomic, the German development team behind
the Spellforce series of fantasy RTS-RPG titles. The team will be renamed EA
Phenomic but no financial details were disclosed.
- Resistance Fall Of Man to be Over 22GB -
MTV News reports that PS3 developer Ryan Schneider in a recent press
showing of his Fall FPS title "Resistance: Fall of Man" claimed that the title
takes up an unprecendented 22 gigs on a Blu-Ray disc.
- PS2 European Price Cut - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe
announced that it is to begin offering the hugely successful PlayStation 2
computer entertainment system in Europe at 129.99 euroes with immediate
effect. The price of Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2) will also fall to
19.99 euros.
