- Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy movie - There is
a new movie trailer for Empire Earth II: the Art of Supremacy to show off
the history-spanning 3D RTS expansion by Mad Doc Software.
- American Conquest: Divided Nation movie - CDV has released
a new
movie trailer for American Conquest: Divided Nation, the expansion pack to
the RTS by GSC Game World.
- Battle For Middle Earth 2 Q&A -
GameSpot has posted a Q&A with EALA's Amir Rahimi talking about the
Create-a-Hero feature in new Battle for Middle-Earth 2. There is yet another new movie trailer on 3DGamers.
- Lineage II Update Interview -
Gamecloud has posted an interview with
Lineage II's US
producer Adam Davison to find out more about how the game has been doing since
its launch.
- New Day Of Defeat Source Map - As promised, Valve has released
a new map for Day of Defeat: Source via their Steam delivery system. The
new map is an all new level, dod_kalt.
- Torino 2006 ships - 2K Sports sent out
a press release announcing that
Torino 2006 -
the official video game of the XX Olympic Winter Games is available now at
retail stores across North America, and will be available at retail stores in
Europe on January 27th.
- BF2 Booster: Euro Forces Delayed - According to
this post by a EA UK employee the
Euro Forces Booster pack has been pushed back. The scheduled release date
was to have been Feb8 but the message board post does not indicate a new
release date.
- PlanetSide Freeplay Details - SOE released some
details on the new
free Planetside
program.
- EverQuest II PvP - As you may already know,
Player-versus-Player combat is coming to EverQuest II. It is currently
planned to launch simultaneously with Kingdom of Sky, the second EQII
expansion. PvP will take place on new PvP-ruleset servers named after famous
dragons in Norrath. Everyone will have the opportunity to start fresh on a PvP
server and be a part of the escalated conflict between Freeport and Qeynos.
- Metal Gear Solid Documentary DVD - Konami has announced that it
will offer
a special DVD for all pre-orders of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, the
upcoming new version of their 2004 released PS2 stealth action game with lots
of new content. The DVD will be split up into five chapters over 30 minutes,
covering the series' overarching narrative, which makes us wonder how the
entire story can be told in less than a half hour, when all of Sons of Liberty
alone would probably take three and a half. The DVD will also include all of
the recent Kojima Productions trailers--including those for Metal Gear Solid
4, Subsistence, and Metal Gear Acid 2--and will be packaged in a foil-embossed
cover with specially-drawn artwork by Shinkawa. Those
- EVO: Phase One prototype at the E3 Expo Show 2006 - Envizions has
announced that
its next generation hybrid media entertainment game console EVO: Phase One
will make its first public appearance inside the CoolIT System Inc. booth at
this year's E3 Expo Show. The console will feature AMD Athlon 64 3200, Nvidia
Geforce 6200, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, HDTV, DVD player and CD capabilities, DVR
Capabilities, Biometric game save, Save EVO games with fingerprint, etc.
- Marble Blast Ultra Available On Xbox 360 Live Arcade - The newest
Xbox Live Arcade title for the Xbox 360 console is now available for download.
- Full Auto Demo Download For Xbox 360- A playable demo for Full Auto
is now available for download via Xbox Live for Xbox 360 owners. It features
one track and two cars from the full car combat-racing game from developer
Pseudo and publisher Sega. The full game drives into stores Feb. 14.
- Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine testers wanted - Himalaya
Studios is currently
on the search for qualified beta testers to help us track down these bugs.
- 50 Cent Bulletproof 1 million copies sold -
50 Cent
Bulletproof has now apparently sold over a million copies in the U.S. and
U.K. (presumably Canada doesn't matter), making it one of the best selling
games of 2005.
