The patch

- Penumbra Black Plague Patch v1.01 - Paradox Interactive offers
a new patch for Penumbra Black Plague, updating the horror sequel to
version 1.0.1
- Dexter Video Game Announced - Showtime Networks and Marc Ecko
Entertainment have joined forces to create
a game based on the hit show Dexter. Marc Ecko Entertainment will serve
as co-developer on the project. No platform specifics, release date
information, or other developer details have been announced
- Galactic Command Echo Squad SE Chapter One Goes Gold -
3000AD announced that the first part of their episodic space combat game
series will be released this week via digital download from a number of
sites like GamersGate and Direct2Drive and will be released via retail
stores in April. The first "season" will have a total of four episodes which
will be released over the next few months and concluding in July.
- CABAL ONLINE Launches in North America -
CABAL Online, a
free-to-play MMO from OGPlanet, has now officially been launched in North
America.
- LOST: Via Domus Ships -
Ubisoft announced that
LOST: Via Domus is available on store shelves for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Based on the award-winning television series, LOST: Via Domus allows players
to experience an untold adventure of 'Lost' in an immersive, interactive
world.
- The Lost Crown Ships - Got Game Entertainment LLC today announced
that the The Lost
Crown: A Ghost-hunting Adventure has shipped to North American retail.
- Windows LIVE Boycott -
At the root of the
campaign is vexation over charging for services previously free for PC
gamers, the large number of countries where LIVE gold accounts are not
available for purchase, Windows Vista exclusives, and complaints about DRM
and customer service woes that don't seem directly related to LIVE. Their
vision of a boycott is quite broad, and seems a bit impractical, as beyond
specifying games to avoid, they also outline an extensive list of developers
to avoid and a suggest that LIVE-supported titles not be reviewed. (thanks

- Rock Band Earns Harmonix Possible $208M Bonus -
Harmonix has earned a possible $208.7 million bonus from parent company
Viacom for the performance of its multiplayer rhythm game Rock Band (PS2,
PS3, Xbox 360)
- Blu-ray Too Small for Metal Gear Solid 4?! - In an interview,
Kojima explained that his team had to compress many elements of Metal Gear
Solid 4 to make it fit in the disc. While they managed to squeeze the
game into Blu-ray, Kojima said the quality could have been better if there
was more capacity to work with.
- Wii Fit Balance Board To Support Third Party Ski Game - Namco
Bandai has announced that it will release We Ski this spring. This skiing
game for Nintendo's Wii console will be the first third party game that will
support the Wii Balance Board that will be included in Wii Fit, Nintendo's
fitness "game" that will be released in the US in mid-May. According to
Namco, the game will offer a variety of events, including ski school,
freestyle skiing, moguls and slaloms, and photography.
