- Funcom Closing Over Half Of Age of Conan Servers - Age of
Conan, one of the more successful MMO games,
is shutting down more than half of their servers. The game will be
consolidated from 24 servers to a mere 6. Europe gets to retain 12 servers
due to language barriers, but the English speaking worlds will be cut to
just 4. The cuts are likely due to the game not retaining anywhere near as
many paying subscribers as anticipated, and even though the game started out
with a bang (415,000 subscribers), they players left much quicker due to
lack of content.

According to a Macworld report, 2K Boston's excellently eerie Bioshock

- Call of Duty: World at War Gameplay Performance and IQ - The
chaps over at
HardOCP have published an interesting Call of Duty: World at War
Gameplay Performance and IQ report: At 2560x1600, your best value for
Call of Duty: World at War is, without a doubt, a GeForce GTX 280. You can
buy one of those right now for $285 USD after MIR, and it even comes with
free shipping. One notch down, at 1920x1200, the best buy we can recommend
right now is a 1GB Radeon HD 4870, available for $224.99 USD after MIR.
Finally, if you have a 20" or 22" widescreen LCD monitor, running at
1680x1050, you don't need to waste your money on a high end card. You can
get an ATI Radeon HD 4850 for a mere $124.99 USD, after MIR, and you will be
all set for Call of Duty: World at War.
