• Microsoft releases critical Internet Explorer patch - A April 'Patch Tuesday' collection also includes Outlook Express fix.
• Pentium Computers Vulnerable to Attack? - The attack is based on the built-in procedure that Pentium based chips use when they overheat.
• Boot Camp users reporting serious crashes - Yea, it is Beta, you can't really expect all the bugs to be hammered out yet.
• Games Go to Boot Camp - 1UP has tried a few current PC games on an Intel Mac. They've dual booted a MacBook Pro with Windows XP, and installed Valve's Half-Life 2, Monolith's F.E.A.R., and Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. From the hands on impressions, all three seem to have worked out pretty well.
• AMD Quietly Intros 3.0GHz Opteron Processors - AMD Opteron models 256 and 856 cost $851 and $1514 in 1000-unit quantities.
• Fujitsu to release first Blu-ray PCs - The desktops with Blu-ray drives are expected to come out in Japan in June.
• Samsung unveils Korean card phone - SCH-V870 measures just 8.7 x 5.4 x 0.9cm and weighs 81g. 
• ForceWare 84.30 Performance Analysis - It looks like all the drivers are almost performing the same. The only difference we saw is with 3DMark05 and ForceWare 84.26.
• Dell De-Crapifier - This script removes unwanted software from a Dell PC. It can be run on a new PC to get rid of all the trialware that comes pre-installed.
• EU domain registry hijacked, claims GoDaddy - GoDaddy CEO Bob Parsons has laid into .eu registry owner EURid for approving hundreds of what he calls "phantom" registrars.
• Stolen US Flash Drives Sold in Afghan Bazaars - Afghan cleaners, garbage collectors and other workers are able to walk off a U.S. military base carrying sensitive information about military operations, which later end up on sale at Afghan bazaars. Deployment rosters with service member Social Security numbers, assessment of enemy targets, names of corrupt Afghan officials and base defenses are examples of some of the information that is being sold several hundred yards away from the base.
• Firefox Flicks Now Open - You can now see all of the ads that were made as part of Spread Firefox's New Project.
• Larger Than Life Sculptures - Ron Mueck is an Australian hyper-realist sculptor who creates gargantuan-sized sculptures that capture details of the human body so well that they're hard to believe.
• Russia's Top Space Company Targets Moon - Russia's leading space company on Tuesday laid out an ambitious plan to send manned missions to the moon by 2015, build a permanent base to tap its energy resources and dispatch a crew to Mars between 2020 and 2030
• Next Toyota Prius to hit 113 miles per gallon! - The 0-62 mph time will also be improved by more than a second, according to the report, bringing it to well under 10 seconds.

• Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter PC preview - LoadedInc has posted a preview of the upcoming PC version of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. This version, which is released in May, will feature some changes over the console versions.
• Stargate Worlds Q&A - The Stargate Worlds has a Q&A with  Chris Klug of Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment talking about their upcoming Stargate game.
• Silent Hill Movie Interview - FiringSquad has conducted an interview with Roger Avary, screenwriter for the Silent Hill movie.
• New Universal Combat: A World Apart Patch - The Battlecruiser Online Downloads Page has a new patch to update 3000AD's space combat to version 1.00.14.
• Kingdom Under Fire: Circle Of Doom Coming To PC - Korean developer Blueside has announced that it will release a PC version of their upcoming Xbox 360 fantasy action-RPG Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom.
• Condemned: Criminal Origins - SEGA just announced that its first-person psychological thriller Condemned: Criminal Origins for the PC has shipped to retailers nationwide. If you're a horror fan then definitely check this out.
• Tomb Raider: Legend available - Eidos announced that Tomb Raider: Legend, the seventh installment in the Lara Croft series that's already available in Europe, is shipping in the US. They also released a new launch trailer. Also, a new performance review can be found on Bit-Tech - they wrote: "Playing at 1024x768 or 1280x1024 with high detail level and even anti-aliasing should be within the grasp of most people. However, crank up the Next Generation Content and you will need to invest a four-figure sum in a PC to play it at a decent resolution and framerate"
• Earth 2160 On Steam - The Steam website has word that the strategy game Earth 2160 is now available on Steam. The game costs $19.95.
• Supreme Commander website launched - The newly launched Supreme Commander website offers info and media, and for registered users, access to the game's forums. Some hi-res screenshots can also be found on SupremeCommanderHQ.
• Heroes of Might and Magic V Demo Thursday - Ubisoft announced that the promised playable demo of Heroes of Might and Magic V will be available for download on Thursday, April 13, 2006, at 9 a.m. PST.
• Dark Watch 2 PS3 Video Footage - Well, apparently it is getting an sequel on the Playstation 3 and BlogStation has some shakycam footage for us
• Final Fantasy XI Live Trailer - There are several Xbox Live 360 updates including an Amped 3 Demo, Burnout Revenge Autoupdate and a Final Fantasy XI Trailer & Picture Pack.
• PC Games Have The Edge Says Firaxis Director - According to Firaxis director and senior producer Barry Caudill, they are not al all concerned about the next-gen consoles. They will focus on PC gaming only, as PC games have a "broader range."
• WoW... An Online RPG Funeral Gets Ambushed -  Apparently, some dude dies in real life who is a popular WoW player. The people in the game think it would be nice to have a memorial for the player so they log into his account, take the character to a lake, and set it up for everyone to come pay their respects. A bunch of dudes decide this would be a great time to ambush everyone so they run over a hill, kill the dead guy's character, and then wipe out everyone who was there to show their respects.
