The single player levels in Breakthrough will go from North Africa to the invasion of Sicily and finally to Italy itself which represents a very different side to the war that the previous Medal of Honor games have not portrayed before. The game will also feature the Italian army with the appropriate character and weapons models to boot. Nine new multiplayer levels will also be included in Breakthrough, including a new multiplayer mode called Liberation. Admittedly inspired by the classic Quake II mod Jailbreak, Liberation will have players capture and hold enemy soldiers while their buddies try to free them. It’s good to know that EA and TKO are trying a few new tricks to keep the Medal of Honor franchise fresh.
