To all my readers who celebrate Christmas, a very Merry Christmas to you, hopefully you will be enjoying this time of the year with your family and friends! I hope that Santa brings you everything you've asked for but above all else, good health, good wealth - and plenty of games!

What will you play, my dear readers? I would finally like to play Kingdom Come Deliverance II and Silent Hill f (while Silent Hill 1 remake is still nowhere in sight). I am quite fascinated by how much storage space today's games take up - Name of Game: ARK: Survival Ascended (400–500+ GB), Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (300 GB), Final Fantasy XVI (200 GB), Name of Game: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (155 GB), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl (150 GB), Forza Horizon 5 (175 GB), Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (120 GB), Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (120 GB), Destiny 2 (160 GB), The Last of Us Part I (100 GB). And today I read that Xbox has confirmed the ACTUAL file size of GTA 6. It is 676.7 GB!! Wow. When you consider that SSD prices are skyrocketing, a 2TB NVMe drive in a PC for games is the bare minimum, 4TB+ would be better... but I'm afraid that's unaffordable for most people. I probably don't need to write about DDR4 and DDR5 memory prices again, as I wrote enough about it last week, and it's not pleasant reading, nor is it a pleasant purchase, where you get very little memory (figuratively speaking) for a lot of money.
Otherwise, I got a new HyperX Alloy Origins PBT - Red keyboard for Christmas, so I'm looking forward to the amazing sound of the keys. I'll install it tomorrow, though. Right now, I'm just finishing this update and then I'm going to bed :-)

Merry Christmas to you all! I would like to see a worthy replacement for my Logitech K800 keyboard. It needs to be silent - I can't bear constant clicking sounds. Having a mouse wheel on it on the left side would also be great.

Misleading — the 676.7 GB Xbox listing is fake. The screenshot even mentions Xbox One compatibility (GTA 6 is a next?gen title) and identical store images have been debunked; industry estimates and Xbox placeholders indicate a much smaller install size

So I apologize to everyone for the misinformation, but at the time I wrote it, it seemed quite possible... based on the videos we've seen from GTA 6, 1/2 TB wouldn't be that shocking :-) However, GTA 6 will probably end up like Cyberpunk....

The optical red/brown/banana switches sound nice. Ever tried those? No need to answer that - seems they cannot be had in decent layouts...

You're right, the keyboard layout is a big problem for me too :-( I can say straight away that 95% of the layouts that are produced don't suit me lol

What I have now was still a reasonable compromise. I would prefer big ENTER.
