To all my readers who celebrate Christmas, a very Merry Christmas to you, hopefully you will be enjoying this time of the year with your family and friends! This is a special time for me too and I will take a few days off from full-time posting on this web site. Of course, I definitely have a few games on my wish list this year - Borderlands, Torchlight, Manhunt 2, Divinity II Ego, maybe Serious Sam HD...So my question is, what games are you playing for Christmas?

Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB Tested - The main "pro" for this drive that was almost glaring, was the noise level. All the other drives were far louder and believe me, that makes a big difference to today's consumer.

Robin Hood International Trailer Online - The first trailer focused almost entirely on Robin's experiences on the crusades and lead up to the inevitable return to a suffering homeland. This one seems to reveal more of the feel of the movie as a war of Outlaws vs a corrupt Prince John.
1st Trailer for 'Karate Kid' Starring Jackie Chan & J. Smith - Okay, here we go. Sony has debuted the first official trailer for The Karate Kid remake starring Jaden Smith as the kid and Jackie Chan as Mr. Han, the Mr. Miyagi like mentor he meets.
First Official Trailer for Kevin Smith's Cop Out! - This new comedy stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as two New York City cops whose adventures include locating a stolen baseball card, rescuing a woman, and dealing with gangsters and their laundered money. Hot damn this look hilarious!

merry christmas hx. well i too wanted divinity2 but i've got the infinite load screen on the demo. check the forum. :cry: Got Risen and enhanced edition Witcher at about 150hrs for them, that's plenty 8) also got a psp for portable fun! And a kinetic citizen eco chronograph watch. Sorted

I have my bookmarks in the menu bar! ... like http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/7037/capture7h.png (not my actual browser layout :P or favs ) with favicons only and no folders... combining functions and reducing space... not some stupid extra TOOLBAR taking up space.. assholes. Get that ...A MENU BAR!!!!!!!.. before those fucking retards at MicroSUCK decided to release the UBER SHITE AERO design/layout d-evolutionary - idiots... like this guy Stephen Horlander who has refined nothing but stayed on the same lame shit design.

Also the menubar with separate menus is still way more useful than cramming shit into one menu, like some IE7/8 looking SHITE where you have stupid icons one side of the browser and then other functions on the opposite(like a sidebar).. I mean what are those fucking retards at Mozilla thinking... oh they aren't.. they're dumbing shit down for noobtards like themselves.

Anyway FF4.0 looks some non customization shit.. even my own custom skin(not shown in screenshot above) is 10x better than that scrap, and whats with the Maxthon2 ripped off gfx for the unopened tab. they are just ripping off designs everywhere! What Losers..FF4.0 will go down hill if they fuck up with that UI.. already starting to see the shit features like crappy Persona's (when they should be improving the theme manager, and Firefox ability to switch full theme changes without restarts) and other crap additions, or removals of useful features..like the element properties.. utter fucking retards at Mozilla nowadays, heck did anyone see one them trying to promote BING as a better search engine? lololol

I've been playing Dirt 2 and am keen to see what Mass Effect 2 will be like. I've also been playing GT Prologue on the PS3. Yeah I know I am behind the times on that one but I just got the console with my TV recently. ;D Thanks again to HX for a good year of gaming and hardware news! (Some of the girly pics too haha.)

Late post lol MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY and not so late post AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR! @HX Torchlight kicks ass. I've also gotten myself Valve's complete pack in steam and Eidos pack which have some awesome games. Don't forget to go watch Avatar in RealD man. One of my best movie related experiences of my life! Going for a second run tomorrow! Cheers!

I'm going to see Avatar in 3D at the Palace Cinemas tomorrow afternoon!

Update: I just saw Avatar 3D, without question it is one of the greatest films ever made. This was an unbelievable visual experience AND a great movie, and that combined together to create something new that I found easy to get lost in. That's something I've never experienced at the movies before. I found that every-time Jake would wake up from an avatar outing, I, along with him, had got lost in the world, and as he snaps out of it, so would I. Every-time he takes the journey, you go along with him and get deeper and deeper into the world. It made for a really interesting avenue to become attached to main character, and because of the immersion factor, it felt entirely different then watching characters warp in and out of something like the matrix.

Cameron does a great job of working in classic movie-goer cliches without ruining the movie and I think this is an actual talent.
