To all my readers who celebrate Christmas, a very Merry Christmas to you, hopefully you will be enjoying this time of the year with your family and friends. This is a special time for me too and i will take a few days off from posting on this site while I enjoy this special season, up on the menu for the 24th is pork schnitzel and Potato salad and Pilsner beer...yummy! All Points Bulletin Official Site Opens - Crackdown vets Real Time Worlds have been working hard at APB (All Points Bulletin) instead of Crackdown 2, and now they've got something to show us in the form of a official website: "APB is an action based massively multiplayer online title being developed by Realtime Worlds (creators of the award winning Xbox 360 title Crackdown). The game utilises cutting edge technology (Unreal Engine3) in order to bring the polish of next generation art and gameplay into the massively multiplayer online space. The game is set in a fictitious modern day metropolis and focuses on the conflict between two factions: Enforcement and Criminals. The game itself centres on player versus player combat and will be the first massively multiplayer online title where player skill determines character progression as opposed to the traditional model of time investment. "

Pre-order extras and contest for PC version of Mirror's Edge - People who pre-order the game from EA's online store will get some extras in addition to the game itself. Pre-orders will receive a free Mirror's Edge t-shirt and a free download of the upcoming Time Trials map pack for the game (it will be released on Jan. 29 for $10 for everyone else). The happiest time of year is also the saddest for me, since you wont be updating the website for a while.

I want to take a moment to thank you again for this website. For the past couple of years, it's been THE most visited site for me. You keep us posted on news of every kind and the way things are laid makes it easy and quick to go through !

1) I'm too busy with my regular job and family to be able review games/gadgets again.

2) It's very difficult to find good reviewers (especially if we are talking about unpaid and volunteer positions)

3) It's extremely difficult to find a sponsor. And good gaming site without big partner/sponsor is mission impossible :-)

Anyway, I still hope one day I will be able to start write (or at least publish) some reviews/features again....Don't worry Gameguru will survive! :wink:
