Electronic Arts has released
the promised multiplayer demo (local
US mirror ~ 324MB) for Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, offering the
opportunity to try out the multiplayer portion of their upcoming World War II
first-person shooter sequel online. (thanks

The demo includes 1 map entitled mp_gifu playable in invader, free for all, and team deathmatch modes. Four player classes are available (infantry, medic, engineer, ammo tech), along with a limited selection of weaponry Be advised that you may wish to head to C:Program FilesEA GAMESMedal of Honor Pacific Assault MPDemompdemosettings.ini, uncheck read-only status, adjust the demo refresh rate to something that won't destroy your eyesight, and then re-check the read-only status before playing.

earlier, the game comes in two editions - a normal version and special Medal
Of Honor Pacific Assault Director's Edition version. Medal Of Honor Pacific
Assault Director's Edition will ship on November 2nd, 2004, followed by the
standard version on November 9th, 2004. |
