Bad Karma has an interview with Microsoft's Mitch Gitelman "and team" online, talking about the upcoming mecha strategy game MechCommander 2.
Q: Will the same kind of strategies that worked in MechCommander 1 be successful in MechCommander 2, or will the gamers who played MechCommander 1 have to learn the game from the beginning to be good at it?
A: Well, the best weapon in the game is no longer a fuel tank! Most of the skills you developed in MC1 are still valid. You can still capture key control buildings to gain a tactical advantage, for example. The addition of line-of-sight and the removal of the black shroud changed a lot of things. It'll take some getting used to, but people who have played it find it very intuitive. Our missions are also more story-based and less puzzle-based. [more]
