Josh Druckman - There are squad-based, solo and rail-gunning missions. Squad based missions involve moving with your buddies and providing cover fire with your heavy weapon. Occasionally, the squad comes under an ambush and the player must use specific objects to place their heavy weapon on. These "mount positions" give the player good cover and excellent accuracy – perfect for tearing the bad guys to pieces. Scenarios include defending a bunker at night, storming a fortified hill, breaking into a POW camp, searching villages and trekking through jungles. There are a lot of mini solo missions throughout the game such as taking out a sniper that has killed a squad mate, searching for maps in underground "rat holes", destroying a bridge with explosives and setting booby traps. For rail-gunning missions, the player will man a side-mounted m60 machine gun on a Bell UH-1 helicopter as it passes over hostile countryside, a powerful .50 cal on a M113 Armored Personal Carrier along a country road and the twin .50 cal’s on the front of a Mark 1 PBR Patrol boat as it travels up river.
