Bungie has delayed Marathon from its previously planned September 23 release date to an unannounced date. A new release date will be announced this fall. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam when it launches.

The product isn't good enough. It's thinly disguised Destiny 2 PvP, and D2 PvP is kind of crap in many ways. A lot of Bungie fans don't like to PvP to begin with, and this game gives them no options.

Also, the game itself lacks the whole Bungie magic. The "heroes only" thing was stupid, it disconnects people from the game when they have to use a cookie cutter hero, imo.

They need to seriously revamp it in the hope of saving it. The beta was pretty blah.
