In this video, you can see a side-by-side comparison of Starswarm by Oxide Games running on the Nitrous engine on two identical systems -- one on the left running on DirectX compared to the one on the right with Mantle enabled.

What a fking great demo...

the game looks like crap both in slow mo fps and fluid mantle

not really a convincing me that mantle is sooo much better (yes it has its benefits i know).. but all I got from this demo was that whoever programmed this game for directx was just so fucking incompetent or up the arse of amd that they purposelessly made dx implementation run like crap compared to mantle.

oh fuk micorsoft and directx though.. opengl hurry the fuck up.
