The Czech Republic and other countries in the region offer a wealth of untapped talent, including world-class technology and computer engineers.

The monthly average wage in the Czech Republic is around $530 but top-notch programmers earn as much as five times that amount. Industry watchers say even that is about a half of what a software engineer at a similar level makes in western Europe and 30 to 40 percent of the wages of an average programmer in the United States.
