Publishers XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe have released the opening movie for coming-of-adge RPG Loop8: Summer of Gods. The trailer serves as the opening cinematic for the game and gives players a look at some of the many characters to befriend, locales to explore, and enemies to face throughout their journey. The cinematic also showcases the game’s stunning art style, with its detailed, watercolor-inspired scenery and anime-influenced character designs over a musical backdrop provided by the original song “Genfunkei” sung by NaHo/QiSui, which sets the poignant tone. Loop8: Summer of Gods is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on June 1 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on June 6 worldwide.
