Vivendi Universal Games and Interplay Entertainment today announced that Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader has shipped to retail. This original PC role-playing game from award-winning Black Isle Studios, developed by Reflexive Entertainment, provides a unique game-play experience combining the traditional elements of the genre with strong sense of action and adventure. Moving out of the typical high-fantasy world, Lionheart takes place on alternate-reality Earth in which history has diverged from the world resulting in a twist to the conventional RPG experience. Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader is available for a suggested retail price of $49.99 with an ESRB "Teen" rating.

In the game, players can control the entire party themselves or join forces with up to four gamers for mission-based cooperative multi-play. As they progress through the realm of Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader, players will be able to arm themselves with hundreds of melee weapons and 60 devastating spell attacks as they attempt to turn the tide against a savage onslaught of otherworldly creatures. Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader also features the SPECIAL RPG system for character advancement previously found in the Fallout® series of PC games.

This game is terribly buggy, Hardly any dev support and well just check the forums NEARLY everyone hates it!!. Game-play experience yer right, try dealing with crashs that stop you from completeing certain quests.

Come on guys let give this game a try, if you love baldur's gate series and icewind dale series this game is similar BUT even better because of the new engine and upgrades.

i played the demo...and definitlty is worst than baldurs gate..and even fallout...in my oppinion

I love the Baldur's Gate series but after games like Gothic 2, the top-down perspective is looking pretty old. Just not interested in going back to it.

Gothic 2 is now the best RPG out there.Its good in all aspects of the game. I didn't like Lionheart demo, its got nothing to do with Baldurs Gate or Icewind Dale 2, its more action packed, kind of brainless Diablo, and without a pause option,even the story is nothing special, the graphics might be better but whats graphics without gameplay and party evolution. Reflexive dont have the experience to make a RPG game, i dont now what was the ideia of Black isle, Reflexive never did any great game, trying to do an RPG, thats only the most complex type of game there is. Reflexive made Star Trek: Away Team wich was a poor game.Lionheart Its a mediocre game, Divine Divinity is better. So this is the worst RPG from Black Isle ever, last year Icewind Dale 2 is better in many ways although the graphics arent as good, but i prefer a good game to good pictures.For the Fans, Greyhawk will be out soon, and its being made by somenone that nows what a good RPG is, Troika. I stiil like the top-down perspective, and i liked the quality of gothic2 , i think theres room for both types. Didnt liked much Neverwinter although the graphics were good, but Gothic 2 is the best there is now. Waiting for Greyhawk to see wich one gets the title of champion.

Well all you people should understood that "Demo" is ONLY a SIMPLE it lacks quality like sound,graphic and gameplay. I'm pretty sure that the real one will be a awards smashing hits.

No you should understand the "DEMO" is suppose to be an accurate peek at what the game is like. If the demo sucks ass why the fuck would i buy the game?
