the BIGGEST mistake they did with this game was the F**KING CAMERA!!! It was good in BO2, SR1 and SR2. Nice game, loved the story, a few twists I didnt expect. I wouldnt buy it. I'd go buy BO2 and SR2 instead. HX, good review. about what I give it too. 82%

It's true what they say about the camera but, it is a very good game! It is worth playing it!!!....I wonder when will Soul Reaver 3 come? does anybody know?

Awesome game! Each installment of LoK is constantly better than the last (They kinda stumbled on BO2 though). I really *strongly* recommend that you play the prequels. Sure, you don't need to know the previous episodes to play the game, but if you do, the cutscenes are pretty much gonna be worthless since you'll have no frigging idea what they're talking about. History abhors a paradox? We got a few of those in SoulReaver2, wait til you see what's in defiance! I'm getting a headache just trying to figure out that sword! If you like a fast paced action game that's heavy on content, try this!

If you play this game, then you know the camera is the most disappointing part of the game.But the fighting is really good! 15% action; 35% jumping; 50% BAD CAMERA!!!!!!!!

The graphics are absolutely awsome, but the controls are terrible! Precion jumping with both Raziel and Kain is close to impossible!

Well again we come accross the GREAT and amazing line of L O K games ... this game is great I love it ... But I dont agree with '[email protected]' I think Blood Omen 2 was an amazing game ... it explained kains hatred so much and it gives you a muchmore detailed over view of his character .... sigh what would we do with out Kain :)

the only thing i dont like about the game is you cant use the mouse to move kain around like in bo2 i wish there was a patch or editing tool on the net to changes tthis so i can keep playing the game.(DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANYTHING OUT THERE FOR PC ..)

It's a nice game,damn deeply involved stories,just like max payne 2.But,so sad to see raziel sacrifice himself.Well,let see how kain going to do his another step to a new era.Good review,bad camera.....

Wah wah wah. You guys must not be REAL gaming gurus if the camera was a problem. I played it not only with the "shitty" camera, but I did it with a fucking KEYBOARD. The game was no harder on PC than on PS2/ Stop your whining. Let Eidos fine tune it so next time you gurus wont' have so much to bitch about. I will say I'm glad to see a gaming site actually give it a decent score, unlike Gamespot that praised it before it came out, and then shit all over it AFTER it came out. As for a patch, Eidos DOEs have an unofficial one. If you didn't like the camera, you aren't true fans. Because true fans wouldn't be complaining, they would be happy the story continues. I give it a 9/10 (only because I wished it had been longer and even more story to it). PS. There IS no SR3, or BO3. The two series were combined (as they were meant to do in the second installments), and now it's ONE series. NO SR or BO, now it's LoK.

This game really rules with everything in it, it's true the camary could have been better, but I had no real problems with it, also the keyboard controlls were not a problem, lets face it, LOK-games can't be bad

Works for version 1.0 and 1.1!!! ------------------------------------ Here is the info: Legacy of Kain: Defiance Info: ____________________ PC users will be able to access the debug menu and change the camera mode. the camera patch does work, use F1 or F4 keys (dont remember which one exatcly), use numpad5 to navigate and spacebar to change settings...
