- Battle Carry trial & dedicated server - AFSL Games has released
the full retail trial version of Battle Carry, their new tank-based
multiplayer action game. This download allows you to try out the Chapel level
"and some new content", but also includes the other seven maps and all further
content of the full game that you can unlock after purchasing a license key
online.
- T72: Balkans On Fire Mission and Map Pack - Battlefront.com has
released
the first mission and map pack for Tank T-72: Balkans in Fire, the modern
tank simulation game by Russian companies Crazy House and IDDK. This pack
includes 4 all new playable missions and 2 new Desert Maps.

for Speed Underground 2 car styling competition called TuningChallenge2

Most Wanted demos. The aim of the competition is to make the best looking car
in NFSU2, make a screenshot of it and upload it to the site where it will be
rated by others.

- Governor signs bills involving violent video games, sports supplements

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a bill Friday that would ban the sale or
rental of especially violent video games to children, setting up a legal
showdown with the $25 billion industry. The new law, which takes effect on
Jan. 1, will fine retailers $1,000 if they sell games to people 17 years of
age and younger that "depict serious injury to human beings in a manner that
is especially heinous, atrocious, or cruel."

- Ten Xbox 360 Developer Kits stolen in Germany -
Microsoft
lost 10 top secret Xbox 360 developer kits from a warehouse in Düren,
Germany. The developer kits arrived late August in unmarked packages together
with other Microsoft products. The kits were destined for game developers to
adapt their games to the new technology. In raids of homes and businesses in
Austria and Germany, three of the prototype consoles were seized. The other
seven are still missing.
