Colin McRae Rally 3 Preview - BMS has posted a short preview of Colin McRae Rally 3. The preview is based on playing of the 95% complete version of the game. In addtion, they have posted 65 screenshots from the game.

Cunyngas Demo - Cunyngas is the third game in the STG genre made by Akatora. A vertical scrolling shooter enhanced with the thrills of modern 3D graphics.
Empire of Magic patch - Mayhem Studios have issued out a new Empire of Magic update (direct link). It fixes some minor bugs as well as the problem appearing in the eighth level of the game. Its main goal is to improve the game and palyers will aslo be rewared with a new multiplayer level.

Shade: Wrath Of Angels Delayed - Cenega sent out a press release announcing that Shade: Wrath Of Angels, the horror-action game from developer Black Element Software, has been delayed to some unspecified point in 2004.
Starcraft: Ghost Delayed - According to the official Starcraft: Ghost website, the console action game from Nihilistic Software and Blizzard will not be released late this year as planned but will now be released at some unspecified date in 2004.
Sequel for Daikatana Petition - There's online petition demanding a sequel to Daikatana, a follow-up to John Romero's infamous PC FPS.

Playstation 2: Computational Cluster - The NCSA has constructed a Playstation 2 Linux cluster as a test bench for scientific computation on "toy" hardware. The cluster consists of 65 compute nodes, 4 user login and development nodes, and 1 prototype node for software installation tests. All the nodes run the Sony Linux distribution for Playstation 2. The compute nodes fill a 24-inch rack; 5 shelves at 13 per shelf .
ATA / ATAPI Interface for Game Boy Advance - This Interface enables you to connect the Game Boy Advance to an ATAPI-protocol-using peripheral like a CD-ROM or a harddrive. This will extend the GBAs maximum cartridge-memory beyond 32MB, which could be quite useful for those who'd like to use the GBA for large space-requiring graphical project or maybe even movies.

Sequel for Daikatana? Bahhhh... John Romero gave up cuz he got bad mouthed, wussy went to make phone games, lol. Ya there's a big market, sure lets all play games on our cellphones... Yeehaw. If John Romero was smart he'd come back to games, write them and just shut up about it. Daikatana was THAT BAD a game but I think without John Romero, Daikatana will suck. A petition, that's kinda funny.
