Swiss gaming website Gameplex has conducted an interview (in English) with project director Vladimir Nikolaev, as he talks about Kreed, the upcoming FPS by Burut. Here is a taster:
Gameplex:What kind of system requirements does it need? Will we be able to play it on current computers or does the engine need high-end systems?
Vladimir: For running Kreed you’ll need the system PIII 1000, 512 MB, Radeon8500/GF3. According to X-tend’s feature of widening of its abilities there’ll be included additional functions, which will demand more advanced system, but the minimal requirements willn’t change. So, the minimal configuration for Kreed will be PIII-500 MHz, 256 MB Ram, Radeon 7500/GF2 etc.
Gameplex: When can we expect the first playable demo? What will be included?
Vladimir: We plan to present the playable demo-version of Kreed on the end of 2002 summer. There will be the pair of level, corresponding enemies and several types of weapon. You see, it’ll be the little part of game Kreed. [more]
