Kreed Delayed Until 2003/Q3 - briefly

Russian publisher Russobit-M let us know that the developing process of hi-tech shooter KREED is close to its final stage. Levels and characters, weapon and equipment are totally ready. Now the main object of developers is to complete the project on a level with the highest world standards. That's why Burut CT and Russobit-M decided to postpone the release date of KREED in order to pay a great attention to perfecting of the gameplay and to testing of the single and multiplayer modes. The new release date of this project is Q3 2003. Wait for beta-testing invitations, and then - for the final version of the game. The current version will be shown at the E3 2003. Welcome to the booth # 6427 in Kentia Hall.

Well since 3drealms never gave a date in wich duke nukem forever is to be releashed.(When its Done) Your comment makes no since..You must mean unreal 2

Despite no date ever being given for the release of DN4 there is no doubt in anyones mind that it's been delayed alittle (a couple of years). So the 3D Realms ppl will have to bite the sour apple and put up with every game that suffer release delays will be compared to DN4. For those that tried the beta of Kreed that floated around a couple of months ago know that this delay probably is a good thing (they are probably jumping onto the realistic physics/ragdoll bandwagon amongst other things).

what i meant is DELAY after DELAY is all to common nowadays in the PC GAMING market. This was given an earlier date and now its been pushed back so all i can say either it resembles DNFE in that by the time it was almost complete the ENGINE it used was dated and that i wouldnt be surprised if this falls the same way.

3Drealms is promising that what you saw in the 2001 trailer for DNFE is nothing compared to what it will look like now..However Goerge meantioned that it wont look as good as DOOM III.. But who cares about graphics anyway.Unreal 2 looks awesome..But it blows donkey dick..

Not surprising, given how ambitious this project is. Not a problem, either. The very tasty Firestarter will be out before long.
