The chaps over at
Jolt.co.uk let us know they have posted
an
interview with
Joint
Operations: Typhoon Rising's producer Joel Taubel, as he talks about
everything you could possibly want to know about the game, including technology,
vehicles and multiplayer options. Here is an excerpt:
JOlt: Could you describe the role of vehicles, or give an example?
Joel: Gamers can fly helicopters, pilot boats, and drive fast attack vehicles as part of a skilled combat team, firing on the move. Players will be able take control of 29 land, air and sea vehicles in game, some of which are hefty and can transport several other vehicles and troops in the air or across water. We call this our "vehicle hierarchy". Imagine transporting two FAV's along with a number of your team mates in an LCAC (large hovercraft) from one island to another, across an expanse of water and unloading them on a secluded beach to launch a surprise attack on the enemy's base over the hill. They won’t know what's hit them!!!
