Japan and US to have the same Blu-Ray region code - briefly

The Blue-Ray region coding was just announced and apparently Japan, the US and East Asia will all have the some code. Meaning that you won't have to do any kind of tom foolery to get your Asian imported media to play on your US device, and vice versa. No word yet on whether this will hold true for Playstation 3 games. Europe unfortunately will be sharing a region code with Africa so likely not much cross-gaming there :(
