Ubisoft has released a playable demo for the PC version of James Cameron's Avatar: The Game, allowing you to try out this soon-to-be-available action game due to ship on December 1st, for PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS and PSP. As Blue's News points out, the installer will display a CRC error for ReadMe_uk.txt, but choosing 'Ignore' will allow the installation to complete normally. To play, you'll need to open the proper directory (default is Program Files->Ubisoft->Demo->James Cameron's AVATAR - THE GAME (Demo)->bin) and open AvatarDemo.exe, as installation does not create any shortcuts. The 1.55GB demo is mirrored on AtomicGamer, BigDownload, CGO.ro, FileFront, GH and FileShack
