HomeLAN: What were the goals for the dev team once the decision was made to create the game?
Doug Avery: The number one goal that was given to the team was to make a great game, but with a caveat that it should do things that haven’t been done with the engine before. We have done just that. There are now puzzles that require players to think as well as exercise their sword arms. However, if an area ever becomes too tedious or players so choose, they can hack their way onward. This provides a nice way for players to control their level of interaction with the game.
