OGaming: Why go the whole first-person shooter route? What makes you feel there's room for a game like this in the MMO market? Kijong Kang: A lot of us on the development team have experience in the FPS arena, having worked on franchises such as the Unreal series and titles like Nitro Family. With Huxley, we are looking to upgrade the FPS genre and take it to the next level. We've researched and analyzed strong and weak points of previous games and have been focusing on making an evolved and improved FPS game. As you know, the FPS genre has a huge fan base and some of the fans are pretty hardcore. Players who enjoy MMORPGs are getting bored with the same old thing and are expecting to see some new game experiences. This is why we decided to develop an MMOFPS... we feel the timing is right. Our team is highly motivated and passionate about the FPS genre and we're working to make Huxley an innovative and creative game for FPS fans that are ready to step up their game to the MMO world. OGaming: Any new things you're doing here with player-vs.-player combat no title has ever done before? Kijong Kang: Huxley will provide massive scale combat, dedicated servers, gameplay between unique opposing factions and a lot more. One of Huxley's biggest features is the cross-platform gameplay between Xbox 360 and PC players. Though we can't go into detail about it now, we are confident it will provide new experiences to gamers on both platforms.
