HomeLAN has written a preview of the upcoming RTS title Hundred Swords, based on playing a beta build of the former console title for the Japanese Sega Dreamcast console. Here is a snip:
"The game itself most closely resembles RTS products like those of the Myth series and most recently Battle Realms in its squad-based style and in its colorful fantasy graphics. However, there is no mistaking the fact that the game was envisioned by a Japanese development team (in this case, Smilebit) thanks to the manga and anime style artwork. There is also no mistaking that the game was originally a console title (indeed, the game’s first screen after the CGI opening is the “Press Enter Button” screen instead of the “Press Start Button” screen seen in console titles) and that may throw veteran RTS game players off for a bit."
