While discussing the future of Borderlands 2 DLC as well as the newly-announced Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Pitchford also elaborated on how Gearbox's previous games had been influenced by Homeworld. He cited the player's ability in Brothers in Arms to stop time, zoom out, and have full control over moving the camera out to the take note of the battlefield was directly inspired by the original Homeworld. Gearbox also showcased the Homeworld Remastered Collector's Edition, which will come with an incredibly detailed 12-inch model of the ship from the original game. Only a few thousand of these will be available, so keep an eye out for news of when the Collector’s Edition will be available for preorder before its release later this fall.
