Homeworld 3 - PC System Requirements - briefly

Blackbird Interactive has published the PC requirements for Homeworld 3, revealing that its new real-time strategy game will require at least an Intel Core i5-8600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, AMD Radeon R9 480, or Intel Arc A380 GPU to play.
For gaming at 1440p/High, Blackbird suggests using an Intel i7 12700K or an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X with an NVIDIA RTX 2070S, an AMD RX 6600XT or an Intel Arc A770. As for 4K/Epic, you’ll need an Intel i7 13700K or an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X with an NVIDIA RTX 3080 or an AMD RX 6900XT.
Those with more powerful hardware will be able to experience the game with ray tracing, which is available under three presets, including an Epic option for the highest visual quality. According to a post from Blackbird, Homeworld 3 will also support some of NVIDIA’s latest technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 3 and its Frame Generation component, which should help ensure higher frame rates for those with the supported hardware. The game will also feature HDR and support for AMD FSR 2, although there doesn’t seem to be any indication yet as to when/if FSR 3 will be added.
Homeworld 3 is scheduled for release in February 2024, and prospective players can wishlist the game now on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
